Forrest fire yuma mushroom
Ultra orange and Riddler yuma mushroom
Ricordea yuma mushroom

Origin:
Ricordea Yuma Mushrooms are native to warm waters, including Florida, the Caribbean, and the Gulf of Mexico. They are commonly found in shallow reef environments, often attached to rocks or coral substrates.
Water Parameters:
Temperature: Maintain a stable temperature between 75°F to 80°F (24°C to 27°C).
Salinity: Keep salinity levels between 1.023 and 1.025.
pH: Maintain a pH level between 8.1 and 8.4.
Lighting: Moderate to high lighting is ideal. Use LED or T5 fluorescent lights to provide the necessary intensity and spectrum for their growth.
Water Flow: Provide moderate water flow to simulate natural ocean currents. Avoid strong or turbulent currents as they may damage the delicate tissues of the mushrooms.
Feeding:
Ricordea Yuma Mushrooms are photosynthetic and obtain a significant portion of their nutritional requirements through photosynthesis. However, they can also benefit from supplemental feeding. While not obligatory, feeding can enhance their growth and coloration.
Microplankton: They can be fed with liquid coral foods that contain microplankton. Feed them a few times a week by targeting the food directly towards the mushroom's mouth.
Meaty Foods: Additionally, you can offer small pieces of meaty foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, or finely chopped seafood. Feed them once or twice a week.
Maintenance:
Water Quality: It is essential to monitor water parameters regularly using appropriate test kits to ensure optimal conditions for the mushrooms.
Water Changes: Perform regular water changes of 10-20% every two weeks to maintain water quality and remove accumulated waste products.
Acclimation: When introducing Ricordea Yuma Mushrooms to your tank, follow proper acclimation procedures to minimize stress.
Additional Tips:
Placement: Place the mushrooms in the mid to lower areas of the tank, ensuring they receive adequate lighting
Compatibility: Ricordea Yuma Mushrooms are generally peaceful, but keep them away from aggressive tank mates like large polyp stony corals or fish that may damage their delicate tissues.
Reproduction: These mushrooms can reproduce asexually by splitting, budding or spawning.
